Adult Life

Life has been good these days, busy but good. Things are coming together in the good name of the Lord.

I have a comfy nest that I can decorate as I see fit. I just need to figure out what to make for dinner, as always. Also, cleaning is like a shadow that follows me everywhere! That shadow is never dispersed!

We currently have a fun little group of animals living with us. And that's been fun.

Gotta keep on my strict budget for the wedding. Sigh~

"Focus on 1% better each day. Find something that can be easily changed. Positive self talk is important for sure, (its a hard one to master especially if you didn't/don't have supportive people around you) For me. I started with things I am grateful for. Like. 3 things each day I am or was grateful for. Eventually the things I was grateful for become my focus vs the things that went bad.

For example. Yesterday, I was grateful for my husband, who came home from work and went to home depot and picked me up another box of flooring tiles and a small can of paint so I can finish my office/craftroom.

I was also grateful to have made a new friend (that would be you)

I was also grateful for my dog, she is quirky and when I woke up in the morning she was inside her bed (not just on) which made me giggle.

Things to be grateful for don't have to be life changing moments or huge things. Just little moments or things that made you smile, or happy,

Also Something else I found helped me was telling people, that I was thankful for them or appreciated them, I tell me kids every day (well most everyday i don't talk to the oldest every day) that I love them and appreciate them. It goes back to what I said yesterday about not knowing what other people are dealing with. If I can share 1 smile or moment that made someone feel good about themselves, then in turn it helps me to be a better person."
