floral prints + nesting

I'm obsessed with bedding during my nesting phase lol. These prints are so gorgeous but I don't have budget for more luxury bedding, not that we even need more bedding but they're so nice. 

I did cave and buy a new 100% cotton sheet set as well as a new duvet set for the guest room. Ian will be visiting towards the end of May. So he'll enjoy those new purchases. The reason I bought these ones were because they weren't as expensive as the really nice ones pictured above, haha. I think it still looks nice though.

Of course, the quality isn't as good as the bedding in our master bedroom, but for the guest room, I'm pleased with the quality for the price of 100% cotton. 

About Silk Pillowcases

I caved and bought new silk pillowcases even though we don't necessarily need new ones at the moment. I just LOVE shopping for bedding. A comfortable bed and bedroom is such a joy.

Currently we have Blissy brand silk pillowcases which are quite comfortable. However, the rich plum colour of the Quince 22 momme pillowcases was too lavish to ignore! And the charming pink ones below are 30 momme which should give an even more luxurious feel. Those are from THXSilk.

I'm a huge Blissy fan since we first purchased from them in April 2023, but their prices have certainly risen (like everything else!) and I was open to trying some other brands anyway. Hopefully the new ones will be just as good when they arrive!
